Access to Nanga Shanti is only by boat from Buntal and cost MYR50 per person with return ,
and takes about 30 minutes.
From Kuching, you can reach Buntal village (Kampung Buntal) by minivans, Damai shuttles, Uber/Grab and taxis.
Minivans start from Electra house, but leave when they are full, so it is best to arrive early.
Damai shuttles leaves from Kuching main hotels...
Taxis are easy to get in Kuching, but much less in Buntal,
so if you wish to leave by taxi, keep the number of the one you like.
As the tidal range can be quite large and change everyday,
plus the fact that access to Buntal jetty is difficult or impossible at low tide ,
we can't have a fixed time for pick-up/drop-off ,
so we will let you know the boat pick-up time when you book your stay.
NOTE : It's very important that you be on time for the pick-up
as any delay will make the boat trip more difficult.
